About Me

My name is Monique! My store is called Mischyf (mischief) Couture.
In 2014, I was diagnosed with cancer. I’m officially a cancer survivor. However, I have quite a few leftover side effects that make employers reluctant to hire me.

I decided to open a store to share my knowledge of sewing and embroidery. I’ve been an artist of sorts since I was a child. I attended a fashion school in my youth and learned how to make my own patterns and designs. I was making bridal gowns when I was 14 years old in my moms’ shop. My mother started teaching me the art of sewing and crafting when I was 4 years old. It has been a huge part of my life. I am so very appreciative to my mom for teaching me. To this day we sit side by side on the sofa and hand embroidery. Please feel free to look around my shop. =)
